Most Frequently Asked Questions for our Microblading and Ombre Brows Training Classes
Our classes are designed to teach anyone with any skill level the art of permanent makeup. Although, having some prior knowledge/skill in artistry, makeup, or tattooing will always be a plus.
Although it can seem as though our techniques and services fall under these categories, we are neither. We are tattoo artists, therefore neither of these licenses are required for permanent makeup.
In order to take our classes, the only certification that is required is a Blood Bourne Pathogens Certification (relevant to your state) that can be completed online. Once enrolled in our class, we will send you the information to complete and submit to us prior to starting class.
Our Microblading and Ombre Shading Master Classes are 9-Days long for optimal learning. With Lifetime Support from your Instructor.
In-Person Class is held on Two Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for a total of 4 days In-Person.
Remaining days during the week (Monday-Friday) are At-Home Practice Days.

Do I get Support After Graduating from Microblading By Z Training Academy?
In-Person Class is held on Two Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for a total of 4 days In-Person.
Remaining days during the week (Monday-Friday) are At-Home Practice Days.
Typical Class Schedule for your 4-Day Microblading & Ombre Brows Training Class:
- Training In-Person (Saturday and Sunday): You will attend class in-person for LIVE Observations and Student Practice Training at our studio with your Instructor, Zaneta Jackson. Where you will take notes and observe how we run our Microblading Business, including client procedures that include brow mapping, color theory, different skins types, hair strokes, and ombre powder shading. As well as proper setup and cleanup and how to properly manage your entire Microblading Business as a New PMU Artist.
- You must attend all 4 days of in-person class held on Saturdays and Sundays in order to graduate.
- The ultimate purpose of our weekend classes is to provide Live Observations and practice time with instructor PLUS time to practice for a whole week on your own before Model/ Certification Day. You'll have Monday-Friday in-between the weekend in-person class dates to practice all techniques learned on your own time (5-Days Total). This extra 5 days of practice time provides students with a more sufficient amount of time to practice before Model/Graduation Day. Practice work must be submitted to instructor daily for feedback.
- Weekend Class Hours: 10:00am - 4:00pm. (Graduations/ Model Days are held on the final Sunday of your class).
- Virtual Learning via Student Portal also offered: Online Study via your Student Portal on our website, www.MicrobladingByZ.com where you will read all of your Training Manuals and start practicing your student worksheets with video tutorials provided by your instructor.
- Login Info for your Student Portal will be sent to your email once we receive FULL/FINAL Course Payment and your Student Kit will be issued to you.
Do I get Support After Graduating from Microblading By Z Training Academy?
- Once you Graduate from Microblading By Z Training Academy, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and have the option to gain even more confidence on REAL SKIN by taking advantage of our Student Independent Contracting Opportunity. As a Student Contractor, you have a 30-Day time frame to bring in your First 5 clients to our studio with the help and guidance of your instructor. You will use the supplies provided to you in your Student Kit for these client procedures. This Student Contracting Opportunity is optional, but a great perk to help build your Microblading and Ombre Brows Portfolio as a new PMU Artist with the complete assistance of your instructor to ensure your clients brows are flawless and amazing! (Based upon availability).
- Affordable Daily and Weekly Booth Rentals are also offered after your Student Contracting Opportunity. (Based upon availability).

Microblading + Ombre Certification Course Total Education Hours Credit: 90 Hours
>10 Hours a Day for 9 Days< - (6 Hours in Person + 4 hours Independent Study per day)
You can obtain a Certificate with 100 Total Education Hours by bringing in your First 3-5 Clients to our studio and performing those Procedures with your Instructor.

Do I Get To Work On A Live Model?
Yes, students will work on a LIVE MODEL on the Final Day of Training Class with the complete guidance of our Master Brow Tech Z. We will guide and assist you with everything from beginning to end to ensure you're on the right track when you graduate from our Program. *Student Must Provide Their Own Model.

Microblading By Z offers our students an Independent Contracting Agreement immediately after Graduation for your First 5 Clients to gain more confidence on REAL SKIN. You can bring in your student kit that is provided and use those supplies for your First 5 Clients and Z will be there to ensure you're doing everything correctly and that your client leaves Happy with AmaZing Brows! If we proceed with the Student Independent Contractors Agreement, you have 30-Days to complete your First 5 Clients.
We also offer DAILY and WEEKLY BOOTH RENTALS to Microblading By Z Training Academy Students. (Based upon availability).
For all students, we encourage continuous daily or every other day practice on all the techniques you have learned in class for 1-2 hours per practice session. Of course, the more the merrier.
For students who are opening their own PMU Studios, you will need an additional 2-4 weeks time frame to properly license your new business/ service and get everything in order. Once you receive your license and have everything in order, you can start working immediately.

Whether they are starting their business for the first time or adding these new services to their list of existing services, our students are flourishing. However, every student’s ultimate success is going to be determined by how much they apply themselves and everything taught in class to their business.
Absolutely! As a Microblading By Z Training Academy Student, you will have access to your student portal for lifetime. If you still need additional help, our students are welcome to come back for a refresher course at a heavily discounted rate of $500 per day.
Most certainly! All of our students are welcome to join our studio as an Independent Contractor for their first 5 clients immediately after training class. This will allow our newly Certified Students to gain confidence and more hands-on knowledge with our Master Brow Artist Z at their side, but is totally optional. We also stay in constant contact with our students to ensure they are continuously advancing in their businesses. We have all open lines of contact for our students to ask any questions they may have throughout their entire career.
