I did an extensive amount of research on where to get my eyes micro bladed. I have never had them done before and it was crucial to me that I went to a place that I trusted would give me the results I wanted. I stumbled across Zanetas work on Instagram and I was very impressed. She seemed to take extreme eyebrow cases and turned them into beautiful brows. I got my brows done recently by Z and they turned out perfect! She walked me through each step of the procedure and made sure to get my input in regards to the color and shape which I really appreciated. The procedure was pretty painless. The microblading itself actually felt like she was rubbing a toothpick over my skin gently. She uses a numbing cream to minimize any discomfort and waxing is way more uncomfortable than this. I was worried that everyone would notice they were “fake” during the healing process but they healed really nicely. They got a little dark at first but peeling/flaking during healing was minimal following her after care instructions. I actually went to a makeup artist to get my makeup done for a wedding and she thought they looked great and couldn’t tell they were microbladed until I told her. She asked who I went to bc she was interested but lived in a different state or else she may have given Z a call. If anyone is on the fence, I say go for it because it is so worth it! I would say that I’m a medium/low maintenance person with a toddler and haven’t really been prioritizing time for my upkeep since my daughter was born. I struggled to find time to get away every week for waxing and normally never did. (I mainly felt guilty for taking time to myself.) I’m also really bad at tweezing my own eyebrows because they were slightly uneven. Don’t even get me started about trying to pencil them in myself. � I was looking a mess most days and I needed a change. I chose to get microblading done because over all it costs about the same or less than going to a salon and getting my brows waxed routinely but all I have to do is use an eyebrow razor to get a couple of hairs every now and then. It’s super easy because a great base and shape are already there! I don’t have to shape anything. I love having perfect “I woke up like this” eyebrows everyday and I can thank Z for that. I found out that she wasn’t only an amazing microblading artist but a really sweet person too. It felt like she really cared about how I felt about my brows and in making me happy. I didn’t feel like “just another customer” to her at all. Great person and great experience! I highly recommend.
